The role is to manage the efficient running of contracts and ensure that projects are completed on time, adhering to health and safety regulations, while delivering customer satisfaction, budgetary control, profitability, and quality.
KEY TASKS
1. Overall responsibility for on-site projects from order stage to completion of defects certificate.
2. Ensuring client satisfaction and quality finish to improve customer relationships and gain further work.
3. Provide a proactive and highly effective service to our clients.
4. Liaison with other team members in preparation of sub-contract orders, cost comparisons, and payments.
5. Cost reporting to General Manager.
6. Ensuring that all projects comply with Health and Safety regulations and that general housekeeping on site meets expectations.
7. Attendance at site meetings, including preparation of all required information.
8. Ensuring cost and waste control.
9. Assisting in efficiently recording all cost variations and the swift conclusion of final accounts.
10. Participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance to procedures and requirements for ISO & 45001, FSC, and Investors in People Standards.
11. Be prepared to travel weekly to sites in NI and ROI as required.
12. Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post as deemed appropriate by the Company.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum 6 GCSE/Levels or equivalent NVQ Qualification in the Construction Industry.
2. HND/HNC/Degree in Construction Management or a similar degree. Recognised Health & Safety qualification desirable.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (ability to confidently deal with Projects over £5m).
2. Computer literate.
