Working as part of a team of Wireless Test Engineers, you will contribute to the provision of a wireless testing service and possibly undertake RF (Radio Frequency) testing on a large variety of wireless products, such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GSM, PMR radio, and base stations as needed.

Hours: 42 hours per week. Monday – Friday but rotational between days, lates, and night shifts. The successful candidate will need to be willing to work all shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Being part of a team delivering test services, undertaking testing in accordance with harmonised test standards (the most common being ETSI and FCC), or customer-specific test plans, within the RF test facilities at our Fareham location.
2. Control and monitor the test equipment calibration status during testing.
3. Work with customers during attended testing.
4. Maintain close liaison with the Project Manager to ensure work is carried out accurately and within the agreed timescales.
5. Accurately record results following company quality procedures and provide clear, concise communication at the end of shifts.
Essential Criteria: the successful candidate will have/demonstrate:
1. NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or practical experience in an electronic-focused role.
2. Willingness to work the identified shift pattern on a permanent basis.
3. Good understanding of IT systems, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
4. Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills with a high level of analytical and pattern recognition skills.
5. Ability to deliver work independently, or as part of a team, to defined deadlines.
6. Conscientious with good interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
7. An enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to be involved in continuous improvement activities.
8. Able to access the site independently as public transport will not always be available due to shift patterns.
