We are looking for two Technical Administrators to assist in the day-to-day smooth running of the Technical and Quality Assurance teams by ensuring that all reports and samples are correctly handled, databases are maintained and improved, and technical tasks assigned by the Technical Manager are efficiently carried out.
Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain reports and input data regularly.
2. Collect and collate data for trending results.
3. Arrange and deal with shipping of samples to customers, ensuring correct handling and storage of all newly received samples.
4. Produce summary reports and presentations.
5. Aid, communicate, and liaise with Senior and Technical staff on relevant technical matters as required.
6. Document controlling.
7. Record and manage daily incidents.
8. Ensure all paperwork is completed properly, accurately, and on time, filed for easy access.
9. Assist in the training of others as required in the Technical department.
10. Help with internal audits as per training and requirements.
11. Work within the team to cover all factory and associated areas and cover other team members when absent if necessary.
12. Any other reasonable duties or requests issued by management from time to time.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1. Excellent attention to detail.
2. Educated to HND level or equivalent, preferably graduate, in Microbiology or Food Science/Technology.
3. Good PC literacy including competence in MS Office.
4. Numerate and literate, able to follow instructions.
5. Self-organisation, planning, motivation, prioritising, and time management.
6. Flexibility to help with any tasks within the QA/Technical department and to cover audits if required.
7. Effective communication, listening, influencing, and persuading skills at all levels.
8. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
9. Ability to prioritise workload and achieve targets and time-sensitive deadlines.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday: 9am to 5.30pm (1 hour lunch) - Office Based
