What We’re Looking For as a Deputy Nursery Manager:
1. 2 years of experience in a Deputy Nursery Manager or similar role
2. Strong background in Early Years education (EY)
3. DSL training is desirable but not essential (we’ll support you in gaining this if needed!)
4. A passion for leading a team, driving educational excellence, and nurturing children’s development
Your Role: As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action, supporting the daily operations of the nursery. You’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to:
1. Lead and inspire a team of childcare professionals, ensuring they have the tools, support, and training they need to succeed.
2. Ensure the nursery operates in line with regulatory standards, while providing the highest quality care and education.
3. Foster an environment of creativity, safety, and fun – where children feel empowered to explore and learn at their own pace.
4. Work collaboratively with families to ensure every child’s individual needs are met.
