Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: Northwest Wales
Duration: 12 Months, likely to be extended
Clearance: Additional clearances required from Day 1; SC to follow
About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support line and base maintenance operations for a Rotary Wing fleet, including aircraft movements and general hangar duties.
Responsibilities for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician:.
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under the supervision of a Lead Engineer
* Complete maintenance inspections and repairs under the supervision.
* Conduct maintenance on airframe structures, engines, mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with regulatory standards
* Assist with aircraft movements and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient hangar environment
Requirements for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician:
* Strong knowledge of aircraft engine and airframe systems
* Proficient in the use of specialised diagnostic and test equipment
* Solid understanding of line and base maintenance procedures and flight operations
* Completed an apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or a related discipline
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with UK Military Aviation and the UK MFTS
* Familiarity with CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations
* Previous hands-on experience with H135 and H145 helicopters
