Job Description
As future mobility experts, digital specialists, and data analysts, we are at the cutting edge of transport planning, delivering some of the most important, impactful, and innovative future mobility projects within the UK and Ireland.
We do this within the framework of the largest transport consultancy in the world, which enables us to connect quickly and effectively with colleagues internationally to leverage global insight for local applications.
Over the next few months, we are looking to deepen our planning capability and are looking for transportation professionals at all levels across England, Scotland, and Wales.
In our team, you will be supported by like-minded individuals and a team with international recognition in many areas of transport/development planning and economics. Collectively, we will deliver innovative thinking and skills to support our Clients’ exciting and wide-ranging projects.
We work with a range of exciting clients in the UK and globally, including local authorities, combined authorities, national delivery agencies, transport operators, and private developers.
Core Work Areas Include:
* Funding applications and business cases
* Policy and Strategy development
* Multi-modal transport models
* Public transport planning
* Transport decarbonisation
* Freight and logistics planning
* Development Planning and Assessment
* Behavioural change and social research
* Monitoring and evaluation
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in one or more of these areas: strategy development, net zero and carbon management, transport and place planning, development planning, transport and economic modelling, public transport planning, and data analytics. Some roles will require demonstrative experience in the relevant specialist areas.
* Interest in transport systems, networks, and related infrastructure.
* Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
* High level of numeracy.
* Motivated to succeed as an individual and part of a collaborative team.
