Role details:
The nuclear defence sector in the UK is vital for maintaining national security and strategic stability.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support Quality Manager by working efficiently as part of a Quality Team in the delivery of a complex nuclear construction project
* Provide assurance that the project quality management system is effective, efficient, implemented and cascaded as appropriate through the project supply chain
* Provide assurance that client and stakeholder requirements are being met by the project and suitable Quality and Life Time Records are developed for project close-out
* Ensure suitable governance and assurance of project including management of the audit schedule
* Management of Quality related KPI’s for the project
* Champion Nuclear Safety culture and drive continuous improvement across the project
Requirements:
* Experienced in the application of relevant quality management system standards (ISO 9001)
* Experienced in the application of a graded approach to quality
* Experienced in expediting and effective close out of routine quality incidents
* Experienced in reporting and monitoring of supply chain
* Experienced in the compilation of Life Time Record documents for project close-out
* Effective audit report writing and communication skills
* Proven background in a similar role in a highly regulated industry
* Knowledge and application of working in an environment with scopes of work such as EC&I, HVAC, Mechanical, Construction and associated standards (desirable)
Qualifications:
* ONC /NVQ Level 3 (preferably in a related subject)/CQI Diploma or significant and related professional experience; would satisfy the requirements of professional registration (e.g. Practitioner Member) of a professional institution (e.g. CQI)
* Auditor Qualification e.g. ISO9001 or ISO19443
* Lead Auditor Qualification e.g. ISO9001 or ISO19443 (desirable)
