Job Description
The role requires an experienced Workday specialist to support the People Systems Team to ensure we are continuously supporting business change, articulating business requirements, and robustly testing new solutions that impact HR and Related Business functions. This involves restlessly identifying improvements to existing controls, data, systems, and processes to ensure maximum potential is achieved and to drive operational performance.
The successful candidate will also need to have an appetite to explore and work on new technology solutions providing support the People Experience (PX) team. You’ll need to problem solve, adapt quickly to a rapidly evolving retail/tech environment, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all business disciplines. The role will deliver in a continuous improvement mode, working to resolve issues, maintain our people systems, and define the PX roadmap.
What you’ll be doing
1. Be a key point of contact for other HRIS team members
2. Presenting new products and innovations to the HR Leadership teams
3. Lead on providing continuous value add improvements to the business as the Workday offering evolves
4. Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions across the business
5. Configure, maintain, and enhance tenant set up and business processes
6. Support bi-annual Workday releases
7. Provide an excellent customer experience by troubleshooting complex problems and investigating and resolving errors quickly and efficiently
8. Train end users and help to facilitate change management activities
9. Strong stakeholder management while supporting on multiple projects
10. Provide 3rd line production support and resolve critical issues
11. Able to consult with senior business stakeholders on business processes and problems and work on solutions within our HR Tech apps
Qualifications
12. Extensive hands on Workday implementation and development experience
13. Have worked on building and supporting Workday integrations, payroll, and security to other SaaS solutions using the native Workday toolsets
14. Experience implementing and using Workday Payroll
15. Knowledge or experience in Workday Security, Innovation Services, Absence Management or Advanced Comp would be beneficial
16. Have delivered complex reporting requirements with future proof solutions that satisfy a broad range of stakeholders.
17. Proven track record in leading on HR projects, using Workday and external systems to enhance process and performance
18. A passion for data excellence and proven track record in HR analytics
19. Ability to work in a fast-paced organisation with demanding stakeholders
20. Have simultaneously managed multiple projects with different deliverables, timeframes and solutions
21. Highly motivated individual ready to overcome barriers and obstacles to reach their goals
