Warehouse Operative - Ben Wilcox We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to support the Distribution function in our state-of-the-art hub in Thatcham, working a shift pattern of 3 days a week on the early shift. These 3 days are not fixed and will require some weekend work occasionally, so we will require flexibility when needed. About the role As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. We work together, and we win together in bringing moments of magic to our customers. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse tasks allocated to you are completed accurately and efficiently. Tasks include: Maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular stock checks, and reporting discrepancies to management. Efficiently picking and packing orders according to customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Safely loading and unloading goods from trucks and lorries, whilst adhering to safety guidelines. Operating warehouse equipment such as pump trucks and MHE (if required). Ensuring that Housekeeping and Health and Safety standards in the warehouse are maintained at all times. Prioritising assigned daily tasks to ensure that individual productivity is optimised. To ensure that any stock and data integrity issues are effectively communicated to the management team via the agreed process. Moving physical stock with paperwork to relevant Inbound lanes. Monitoring Outbound lane and moving stock to Dispatch. Carry out additional tasks e.g. wrapping rails, pallets; stacking pallets. Monitoring GMP floor and clearing empty pallets, tubs, boxes. Organising stock that is waiting to be verified, replenish empty tote areas and empty rail area. This is a physical role which covers a large expanse of our Distribution Centre, as on average, our Warehouse Operatives complete 20,000 steps a day. About You As Warehouse Operative you will have a strong work ethic and great attention to detail as you will be checking key details of luxury orders on a day to day basis. You will be hard working, reliable, quick thinking and have the ability to take initiative. You will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to a high Harrods standard. You will have great timekeeping ability with flexibility to support the team across multiple functions with the team end goal in mind.
