Each Bright Horizons colleague is entitled to a paid volunteer day every year What you’ll be doing Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families Encourage and model behaviour, which is appropriate in a child environment, being professional at all times Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day To carry out daily laundry duties as required To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality, for example being aware of personal information regarding children Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking of certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g., supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment What we’re looking for Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements Great communication skills, with both colleagues, children, and parents Bright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
