The Marketing and Communications team at DMU is growing, and this role will be a key member of the Directorate’s Marketing team, supporting the Marketing Campaigns Manager and Senior Marketing Officers on the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, across a range of audiences. The Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, comprising brand and creative development; design and print services; corporate and student recruitment marketing campaigns; CRM and conversion campaigns; faculty marketing and recruitment; reputation management; media relations; internal and external communications engagement; events; schools and colleges engagement; Widening Participation; enquiry management and follow up; web and digital development and market insight. Role Reporting into the Marketing Campaigns Manager, you will work on the development of high-impact, effective marketing content and materials to support the university’s 'The Empowering University’ strategy and recruitment ambitions. You will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, and provide leadership to a team of Marketing Officers, in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment to deliver innovative and high-quality marketing solutions. Ideal Candidate To be successful, you will need significant experience working in a marketing or campaign role, developing and executing successful global advertising and marketing campaigns. You will have previously worked with media and communications agencies, optimising budgets and delivering value for money. We are looking for a forward-thinking, creative and innovative person to lead in the development of effective and highly creative engagement and communication plans, for all audiences, including both domestic and overseas. You will have experience in the collaborative development and optimisation of customer journeys. With this in mind, you will need to have an understanding of campaign metrics, with detailed knowledge of key tools for establishing, monitoring and optimising campaign activity.
