Minimum Qualifications
* You’ll bring a degree in an Earth Science-related subject and practical experience in an Earth Science role.
* You’ll have great IT skills and the ability to interpret hydrogeological and geochemical data.
* You’ll have excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking, with the ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
* You’ll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
* You’ll also have a full UK driving licence and be willing to conduct site visits across the UK, with occasional nights away from home.
About The Role
You will…
* Oversee technical implementation to mitigate pollution risk from rising mine water levels.
* Collaborate with technical teams and external contractors and consultants to gather data.
* Provide technical expertise and support on the Coal Mine Water Programme.
* Develop and implement strategies to manage mine waters.
* Gather, analyse, interpret and present geoscientific monitoring data.
* Occasionally conduct site visits across the UK to manage survey works and collect data.
Role location: Hybrid working (on average 2 days working out of our Mansfield office)
