Job summary We are looking for an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, nurse or social worker who has experience of working in or with community care equipment and / or wheelchair services, to join the ICB working across Hull and East Riding with the Clinical Commissioning Lead to support and deliver integrated Community Services, with the specific remit for Community Care Equipment / Wheelchair Services and Personal Wheelchair Budgets. The post will work across Hull and East Riding Places, Hull City Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council. We are looking to recruit a candidate who possesses highly developed and effective communication and organisational skills, with knowledge and experience of equipment and wheelchair services, combined with initiative and drive to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Your key areas of focus will include the ongoing review of clinical pathways, prescribing / authorisation policies and processes. It will include making efficiency recommendations and implementing approved service improvements which lead to improved outcomes for service users, their carers and/or families.
