Site Manager required to join growing roofing and cladding specialist in Nottinghamshire. The company works on a range of new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects typically ranging in value of £5,000 - £1 Million. The role will suit someone that has worked within the roofing / cladding industry previously and is looking to join an ambitious, growing company.
To oversee multiple contracts running concurrently from start to finish, site locations will be mainly Midlands based and also covering the Northern part of the country. A company vehicle and mileage expenses will be provided, together with accommodation expenses for occasional overnight stays if and when required during national contracts. 95% of the role will be site-based. The candidate will report directly to the Director and Site Supervisor for each contract, and roles will include:
1. Starting salary £37,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
2. Company Van supplied
3. 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
4. Managing labour
5. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements
6. General day-to-day running of the site
7. Organising and prioritising own workload
8. Liaising with main contractors/clients as their first point of contact throughout the project
9. Liaising with clients' key staff, design team, project coordinators, draughtsmen, and architects
10. Attending progress and management meetings when required
11. Liaising with our suppliers/plant/scaffolders when necessary
12. Dealing with and resolving any site problems and issues relating to labour, plant, materials, etc.
13. Certifying works at the necessary intervals
14. Completing records and any admin necessary to fulfil the tasks required
15. Ensure deadlines are achieved
16. Ability to fulfil clients' contractual requirements
17. Experience within the roofing / cladding sector
18. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
19. Knowledge of cladding and roofing systems
20. Commutable distance to Nottinghamshire
21. CSCS card
22. IPAF Cert
23. SMSTS
