We are looking for an inspirational and committed Attendance Officer, at our Gardners Lane Primary School & Oakwood Primary School sites in Cheltenham who will work alongside our new Executive Headteacher, Heads of School and Governing Body to help support and challenge families to ensure that children’s attendance at school is prioritised.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated Attendance Officer who would relish the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives and opportunities of children.
Gardners Lane and Oakwood Federation currently has a combined role of 640 children. The Federation is committed to developing and sustaining an outstanding school that prides itself on its inclusive education, built on firm foundations of pastoral support and developing the whole child.
The school recognises the importance of regular school attendance and the difference this can make to a child’s experience of education as well as their long-term aspirations and achievements. The Governors are looking to appoint a passionate individual who shares this view and is keen to help children experience the very best educational experience.
