The Position We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Quality Partner (SQP) to join our Product Development Quality organization, reporting to the Subchapter lead Product Development Quality. As the Strategic Quality Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring effective partnerships with Development Project Teams, thriving for project acceleration and ensuring no delay in milestones and project execution. You drive consistent interpretation & implementation of global requirements across Customer Areas (CAs). You ensure the deployment and implementation of the D&D module and drive awareness and adoption of the Risk Enabler inside and outside of Global Q&R decision making. The Opportunity: Act as a single point of contact within project teams for new product development and product changes, ensuring effective management of strategic topics and decisions. Partner with Design Quality Partners (DQP) for efficient documentation of milestone deliverables and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to accelerate development processes. Ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of global requirements across Customer Areas (CAs) and incorporate lessons learned from quality feedback. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within R&D, Product Development Quality, and other functions by reducing complexity and implementing pragmatic solutions. Serve as a role model and mentor, supporting the transition to an agile, collaborative, and adaptable operating model while encouraging a learning and development-oriented environment. Drive decision-making processes, ensuring timely and informed decisions with effective change management in Product Development Quality and other functions. Support internal and external audits, lead constructive discussions in project team meetings, and facilitate the adoption of risk-based decision-making. Develop and improve playbooks to optimize Pre Market Quality contributions, ensuring effective feedback loops and information flow for milestone reviews, with occasional international travel as required. Qualifications of the position: Bachelor's degree in science, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is an advantage. Over 8 years of experience in the diagnostics industry or a related field with a focus on business functions. Strong business and financial acumen, with an enterprise mindset and deep scientific and technical knowledge, including product development experience for IVD Products (ideally with a focus on systems, instruments and/or software development). Knowledge of relevant regulations such as ISO 13485, GDP, and GMP, with a thorough understanding of end-to-end lifecycle management. Proven pragmatic decision-making skills, excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Strong leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change, with proven knowledge of agile methodologies and new ways of working.
