Staff Development: Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nurses. Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and implement development plans. Scheduling: Help in organizing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times, including managing leave and shift swaps. Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive high-quality care by monitoring nursing practices and providing direct patient care when necessary. Clinical Audits: Participate in regular clinical audits to maintain and improve care standards. Care Plans: Oversee the development, implementation, and review of patient care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs.
