General Manager – Care Home
Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Salary: £65,000 per annum + bonus + excellent benefits

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead a well-established, purpose-built care home in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong operational background and a commitment to delivering outstanding care.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading the day-to-day operations of the care home to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance.
Managing, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary team.
Maintaining excellent relationships with residents, families, staff, and regulatory bodies.
Overseeing financial performance, occupancy levels, and budget management.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a positive, resident-focused culture.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or General Manager in a care home setting.
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks including CQC requirements.
A clinical background is desirable but not essential.
Passion for high-quality, person-centred care.
