The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Manager to join the team at Recar Brisbane!
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of quality parts, ensuring efficient cycle times and site profitability.
Role Responsibilities
1. Order parts via parts management / ordering system
2. Receive parts - check correct and not damaged
3. Enter parts invoices accurately into quoting / management system
4. Be aware of parts ETA and possible delays
5. Procure parts to ensure profitability
6. Manage stock including credit notes, parts and goods returned
7. Upon parts arrival record job number and store in the appropriate area
8. Explore alternative options for the supply of delayed parts
9. Credit parts via parts management / ordering system
10. Confirm discount levels are accurate in parts management / ordering system
11. Follow up suppliers for parts credits
12. Coordinate and order sublet repairs
13. Process sublet repair invoices
14. If required, order paint and consumables in accordance with production needs through AMA Distribution Centres (ensure appropriate sign-off obtained prior to placing order)
15. Process / receipt paint and consumables ordered
