Recruitment Officer required for our client based in SE London.
Working within the Agency & Recruitment Team to deliver an end-to-end recruitment service to hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and supporting recruitment activities - vacancy postings, recruitment enquiries, supporting agency recruitment, pre-employment screening, new starter inductions.
2. Undertaking the client's pre-employment checks for new starters.
3. Liaising with managers for the purposes of recruitment.
4. Operation of the recruitment controls, ensuring appropriate authorisations are in place prior to recruitment.
5. Liaising with applicants and new starters.
6. Carrying out first day inductions.
7. Using the client's recruitment and HR systems to provide an efficient and effective service.
Knowledge:
1. A good standard of education (GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English), or equivalent experience, and a commitment to continuing professional development.
2. Sound understanding of organisational EDI objectives and inclusive recruitment and how this is delivered within the post duties.
3. Sound knowledge and experience of recruitment procedures, best practice, and of employment law relating to recruitment.
