Position:
Unity is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the business in Aberdeen on a permanent basis.
The Technical Sales Engineer will proactively and strategically sell Well Integrity and Decom technologies, services and rental equipment across the Unity portfolio to a defined customer base.
In alignment with sales targets, the Technical Sales Engineer will also work to establish customer relationships that enable the identification of customer needs and the positioning of Unity solutions.
You should be obsessed with the Sales process and have an existing global network in one or more of the following: P&A/Decom, Well Integrity / Intervention / Trees/Wellheads and be comfortable providing technical information, advice, and supporting evidence to all levels of stakeholder across existing and new clients.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Will Include the Following:
1. Continually building a pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities. Identifying current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
2. Become an expert on Unity products and conduct introductory calls and presentations with prospects and customers.
3. Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders within the accounts during complex engineering sales cycles.
4. Work within a team-selling environment and specifically build relationships with Unity Sales, Operations and Engineering counterparts.
5. Prepare tenders, proposals and quotations.
6. Ensure sales targets are met - exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a regular basis.
7. Create a sales pipeline with CRM system and track/maintain through the sales cycle in CRM system.
8. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients.
9. Negotiate contracts and terms and conditions.
10. Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
11. Review cost and sales performance.
12. Prepare weekly sales update report.
13. Provide product education and advice.
14. Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
15. Be able to think critically and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings or other client benefits.
16. Be willing to travel nationally and internationally to visit new and existing clients on a regular basis.
Job Knowledge And Experience:
1. Demonstrable technical sales experience; preferably in well integrity, intervention and/or decom.
2. Knowledge of surface wellhead equipment and associated standards.
3. Understanding and knowledge of common Slickline, Wireline and/or Coiled Tubing well intervention operations and tooling.
4. Understanding and knowledge of pressure control equipment (PCE).
5. Existing global network of clients in oil and gas operators and service companies.
6. Must be able to anticipate customer needs and be a key player in developing relationships.
7. Must have a clear customer focus and be able to understand the variety of stakeholders and cultures in different areas of the business - and respond to them accordingly.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Good decision making and negotiation skills.
