We currently have a permanent job vacancy for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our team based in Skelmersdale. Due to an influx of work and securing new contracts, we are looking for a manager to run our team of Electricians.

P&R Electrical Contractors Limited has been in operation for over a decade and continues to experience growth. Our client base primarily comprises commercial entities, including local councils, factories, offices, and schools. As well as electrical services we specialise in gate automation, CCTV installations, door access, and security. We cover a wide variety of areas across the northwest.
We are looking for a highly motivated, honest, and reliable individual with at least 3 years of electrical manager experience.
Main Duties Ensuring that all electrical works and installations meet high quality and compliance standards and are completed on schedule
Communicate with customers in a professional manner
Participate in site meetings
Conduct daily site inspections
Assist with apprentices learning
Overseeing and coordinating the electrical team and subcontractors
Control and manage site stock and equipment
Carry out Toolbox talks
Supervising, guiding, and overseeing employees to ensure compliance with company procedures and policies
Role Requirements
Technical Expertise
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and regulations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams
Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations
Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
Problem-Solving Abilities
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose electrical issues efficiently and develop effective solutions
Innovative thinking to enhance system performance and reliability
Leadership and Communication
Proven experience in leading a team of electricians
Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance and instructions
Ability to mentor and support junior electricians
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
