Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Macclesfield who are currently looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to start after May half-term, with the opportunity to go permanent in September. The school are looking for an enthusiastic individual who I passionate about the academic development of young students.
About the role:
* Start-date after May half-term with opportunity for a permanent contract in September
* School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Congleton, Stockport and Stoke-on-Trent
* Opportunity to earn £85-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualised learning plans for individuals who require additional learning support. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, providing interventions in Maths and English, ensuring to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Additionally, you will support the class teacher day-to-day, assisting with lesson plans and organisation of resources.
What we’re looking for:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role
* A genuine passion and enthusiasm for the development of young individuals
* Good knowledge of the national curriculum
* Excellent knowledge of recent trends and best practices with regards to behaviour management
* Safeguarding training (must be done through Teaching Personnel)
To be considered for this role, applicants must also have an enhanced child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
