The Advocate group are currently supporting a thriving and ever-ambitious client within the food sector. This role sits between the Marketing and Sales team and is pivotal to the business developing strategic relationships with major retailers and driving both category growth and brand visibility for their product offering.
The ideal Category Insights Exec will use data-driven insights to optimize merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies, ensuring mutual success for the company and their retail partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage category data in collaboration with retailers and data providers.
2. Drive annual range review plans and space recommendations.
3. Contribute to joint business plans and identify growth opportunities.
4. Provide category insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
5. Support marketing initiatives and promotions to boost brand awareness and sales.
6. Prepare regular performance reports and category analysis.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years experience in a similar insights or category role within Food or wider FMCG environment.
2. Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and business strategies.
3. Strong communication, presentation, and commercial awareness.
