This advert is open to Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils employees only What we are looking for We are looking for an experienced Digital Content Producer to join our Communications team. To be successful, you will share our values, commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities. About the role You will work with the Communications team to create digital content promoting Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils’ work, priorities and campaigns – keeping a range of different audiences informed. This role will focus on the creation of brilliant and engaging content for our social media channels, website and internal communications. This will include taking pictures and shooting video, and working alongside the communications team to plan content. You will use different digital media platforms; analytics will help guide decision making and you will ensure we are producing content which can reach different audiences. About you We are looking for a digital content producer with a proven track record of delivering engaging video and pictures for a business or organisation. You will have a clear understanding of what makes good content, be creative and have a genuine interest in social media and its changing trends. You will show an awareness of the types of content that a local authority could and should be sharing with residents and staff, including how to make it accessible and engaging. Candidates should be confident with good communication and IT skills, be politically aware, and be prepared to lead the discussions on the types of content we should produce.
