Electronics Development Engineer

Job Overview:
A well-established company is seeking a skilled Electronics Development Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of electronic assemblies integrated into mechanical packages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead electronic product development, working closely with a team of engineers to meet spatial constraints.
* Design and layout PCBs, producing documentation for manufacturing.
* Source, produce, and test prototypes as required.
* Develop and test prototypes in compliance with EMC legislation (experience with automotive/aerospace standards is advantageous).
* Identify and recommend improvements to optimize costs and technical performance.
* Oversee qualification, testing, and compliance with EMC standards.
* Conduct feasibility studies for new technological innovations.
* Document and report internal testing findings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* Proficiency in both analogue and digital electronics hardware design.
* Experience bringing products from concept to market (full product life cycle).
* Understanding of EMC compliance and testing.
* Knowledge of CAN bus networks (SAE J1939 preferred).
