An opportunity has arisen for a number of experienced senior clinicians to join the Transformation Directorate's Digital Clinical Informatics team.
We are recruiting for four Senior Clinical Leads to join the following teams:
* Digital Screening Team (1x 1FTE)
* Data and Analytics Team (1x 1FTE, 1 x0.8FTE)
* Live Services Clinical Team (1x 1FTE)
Main duties of the job
We have four vacancies for a Senior Clinical Lead to join our Digital Clinical Safety team, to lead our Digital Screening team, to lead our Live Services team and our Data and Analytics team.
* Digital Screening team -Lead a highly experienced team advising and assuring the clinical safety of NHSE developed and commissioned IT products.
* Data & Analytics -Drive insight for better decision making across health and care to help people live healthier longer lives.
* Live Services Clinical Team - Support incident management for Severity 1 & 2 Major Incidents and various aspects of onboarding and clinical assurance of systems connecting to national systems.

Some of the skills and experience we’re looking for:
* You will be a UK registered clinician with proven credibility and the ability to command respect from clinical and non-clinical professionals.
* Proven high-level experience of supporting delivery of complex change and strategy development programmes.
* Evidence of ensuring that there is a clinical safety focus throughout the life cycle of programmes and services.
* Ability to clearly communicate informatics-related work to non-clinical stakeholders.
* Demonstrable experience of clinical governance frameworks with a strategic understanding of clinical risk and clinical safety.
* Demonstrable people and professional leadership skills.
* Currently registered and regulated health or social care professional with evidence of continued professional development.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Registered and regulated health or care professional with high level specialist.
* Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience of working with NHS quality improvement frameworks and their requirements.
* Understands the sources and quality of evidence relating to clinical assessment.
Skills and Capabilities
* Leads effective incident management and untoward event reporting at a national level.
* Able to lead and monitor the ongoing research and development of evidence-based clinical guidelines.
