Principal Project Manager (Public Sector) Autonomy
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 to £48,069 + 28 Holiday + Public Pension + Flexibility + Benefits
Are you a Principal Project Manager who wants to work on exciting new projects and be a key player in the delivery of important commercial and political focused projects in the West Yorkshire area?
Do you want to be fully responsible for the project management of a wide range of projects that will make an enormous difference in the community and ensure they are delivered on time and to budget?
On offer is an opportunity to join a local public authority with newly granted authority from central government to oversee and implement its own projects and ensure that exciting new projects are delivered on time and to budget for the people of West Yorkshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects from planning to delivery, with a total value of £50 million. You will lead the team, manage commercial negotiations, ensure PMA adherence, and manage commercial and political stakeholders.

1. Project Management in a complex capital project environment
2. Lead & manage commercial negotiations for live projects
3. Team management and stakeholder engagement
The Person:
1. Prince2 Practitioner, RICS
2. Experience and practical knowledge of RIBA design
3. Proven contract and project management skills
4. Ability to deliver complex, high-profile projects and manage finances
