Job Description
Senior IT Developer required. Our client is a financial services organisation listened on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange. They are formed as a strategic investment company specifically to build a leading financial services group originally operating in the international corporate and trustee service provider sector. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established organization with several companies based in the UK, Malta and Gibraltar.
The position will be mostly hybrid-working with the infrequent travel to the office based in Haywards Heath. The successful candidate will help the team maintain, improve, and increase capability within the products. You will need to have experience with modernising & working with N-Tier applications.
Position Overview
1. Work as part of the development team to build and deliver high quality, reliable, and secure software solutions
2. Contribute to ongoing technology decisions within the department
3. Work with product owners and business analysts to refine and estimate requirements
4. Work with project managers, product owners, and operations team to ensure applications are successfully delivered into production
5. Providing production support to applications and systems
6. Assist with cyber security risk management and business continuity plan.
Position Requirements
7. Minimum 3years+ experience using C#.Net design and development experience, both in ASP.Net.
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Experience working with N-Tier applications
10. Minimum 3 years + SQL experience
11. Understanding of modern and legacy architectural patterns
12. In-depth understanding of design patterns, MVC, as well as SOLID and DRY development practices
13. Excellent knowledge of modern workflow practices, GIT, DevOps, Octopus CI/CD etc.
14. Experience with REST API’s, Dapper, EF Core, DDD and TDD
Position Remuneration
15. Salary up to £65,000 (dependant on experience)
16. Hybrid-working (Occasionally need to go into the office)
