Join our client, a leading facilities management company, as an Accounts Receivable Team Leader. Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee the accounts receivable team, ensuring motivation, management, and high performance.
* Collaborate closely with other department managers to enhance operational efficiency.
* Achieve individual and team KPIs, managing and developing the accounts receivable team.
* Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders and work alongside finance team leaders to provide optimal business support.
* Implement and improve internal controls, standardising processes to align with best practices.
* Ensure appropriate training for the accounts receivable function and related departments.
* Generate valuable management information to support strategic decision-making.
* Deliver all reports and schedules to stakeholders within tight deadlines.
* Manage and resolve issues with potential problem accounts.
* Drive system upgrades and ensure adherence to workflows within the accounts receivable team.
* Perform additional ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience managing an accounts receivable function is desirable.
* Ability to develop team members' skills and drive continuous improvement.
* Proven experience in designing and maintaining internal control frameworks.
* Effective communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive and focused attitude in all professional interactions.
* Flexible and positive approach to work challenges.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OCR technology is desirable.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
