Job Description
* Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
* Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.
* Summarising current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
* Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.
* Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
* Guiding accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
* Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
* Securing financial information by completing database backups.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Experience within the hospitality industry preferred but not essential.
* Preferably part-qualified or qualified by experience.
* Proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger structure.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
