As a Qlik Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making. You will transform complex data into actionable insights that enable Affinity Water to innovate and optimise performance. With strong experience in the Qlik suite of products, you will design and deliver information, insights, and interactive dashboards from a modern, cloud-based data management and BI platform.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand business requirements to identify data sources and support with extract and transform activities.
2. Clean and reprocess data to ensure readiness for analysis.
3. Perform exploratory data analysis to understand trends, patterns, and anomalies.
4. Collect, clean, and prepare data from structured and unstructured sources for analysis.
5. Analyse, interpret, and report data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Create data visualisations and storytelling to represent data findings clearly and effectively.
7. Support the development of dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
8. Collaborate with the Data Governance Lead, business stakeholders, and other roles to build data management, data governance, and data quality assurance.
9. Provide insights and designs for Data Engineers and Performance Insight Analysts.
10. Undertake ad-hoc data analysis to support business decisions.
11. Continuously develop personal skills to stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis.
Qualifications / Knowledge required:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of SQL that can be practically applied.
2. Proficient in tools such as SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
3. Experience developing Qlik Sense applications, including Qlik Sense and NPrinting.
4. Strong understanding of UI/UX design concepts.
5. Working understanding of Data Protection 2018 requirements.
6. Ability to work with large datasets through data cleaning, reprocessing, and transformation techniques.
7. Ability to document dashboards, standards, data designs, and data models.
8. Experience in translating complex information and large data sets into graphic or interactive visualisations.
9. Experience working in an analytical capacity with excellent problem-solving skills.
10. Deep understanding of Business Intelligence reporting.
11. Ability to translate business requirements into data modeling / scripting and Qlik front-end development specifications.
Personal Skills and Key Competencies:
1. 5+ years experience developing and delivering interactive dashboards and reports using QlikSense, QlikView, and NPrinting.
2. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards project delivery.
3. Excellent communication skills, flexible and a team player, self-motivated with a positive "get-it-done" approach.
4. Ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders to capture complex requirements and translate them into data storytelling.
5. Strong organisational skills and experience in prioritising work to meet project deadlines.
6. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
7. Working knowledge of Data Analysis, Data Governance principles, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, and Information Governance.
8. Experience with enterprise-level data infrastructure and knowledge of ETL principles.
9. Ability to convey complex data findings to both technical and business executives.

1. Salary circa £50-60,000 dependant on experience.
