The Role of Food & Beverage Director TheFood & Beverage Directorwill be responsible for leading the team to ensure a memorable experience from every interaction. You will ensure that there is a warm welcome into any of the areas that our guests are in and that a memorable experience is created through genuine hospitality. Fantastic organisation and communication are key to deliver an exceptional event experience for our guests. A key aspect of the role ofFood & Beverage Director is to forge a great rapport with guests from initial contact and ensure the team also do this, strong working relationships with all departments to ensure great service delivery & effectively maximise revenue when there is opportunity. The daily duties and responsibilities typically include: Overseeing the operation of all food and beverage throughout the Brinsop Court Estate. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and exacting standards of cleanliness across all areas Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as necessary Recruiting, training and supervising food and beverage staff. Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided and taking action to improve any shortcomings. Assisting in catering /bar management for events, including weddings, conferences, and other special occasions. Managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and drinks, and maintaining exceptional customer service. Develop drink menus and ensure bar service runs smoothly. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for inventory control. Responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating staff, scheduling shifts, and overseeing any staff or customer-related issues that arise. Manage budgets, forecasting, and managing profit and loss statements. Manage customers feedback. Maintain a high level of exceptional customer service. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations. Qualifications Proven work experience as a Food and Beverage Manager/Director or similar role Proficiency in multiple task management Experience in managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling costs. Outstanding communication and leadership skills Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets. BS degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management, or relevant field Level 2 or higher in Food Safety and Cellar Management Driving licence AMRT1_UKCT
