The role will be responsible for ensuring that all financial crime reporting requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner. The role will include interactions with law enforcement and other external organisations. Key elements of the role are as follows: Consolidation and provision of regular management information. Timely and accurate reporting of MI on a regular and ad hoc basis. Completion of the annual REP-CRIM Regulatory return. Assist with the reporting of representative financial crime risks, including data analysis compilation and review. Conduct thorough root cause analysis of financial crime events, and compile statistical reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Respond promptly and accurately to information requests from the Financial Conduct Authority. Manage the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and reports to the National Crime Agency (NCA), ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Engage with law enforcement/other external agencies as required, providing necessary information and support for their investigations. Identify opportunities for improvement in the Financial Crime team's reporting processes. Notify the Deputy MLRO of any material financial crime risks or issues identified. Provide support to the Deputy MLRO or other financial crime areas as required. About You You will have: An in-depth level of understanding of Financial Crime, with experience of management information and external financial crime reporting. Prior experience of engagement with law enforcement agencies is desirable. Strong attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills. Good planning, analytical and communications (both verbal and written) skills. High energy and drive and be delivery focused. The ability to work well on your own or within a team. A can-do attitude, and willingness to just get stuck in where help is needed. Financial crime qualifications are desirable but not essential.
