EAD is responsible for the Performance, Budget, Relationship and Compliance Management of DWPs contracted employment provision, delivered by external providers and partners. Key Accountabilities Lead a team of Performance Managers (PMs), building relationships with Providers at operational delivery level and representing EAD interests, providing advice and guidance on performance and service delivery issues as required. To support PMs in the management of under- performance in accordance with the EAD Performance Management Intervention Regime (PMIR). Managing interventions with providers to address poor performance. Influencing providers to ensure the provision of high-quality, cost-effective services, ultimately achieving better value for money for United Kingdom (UK) taxpayers. Seeking commercial and legal agreement to actions where appropriate. Monitoring the forecasted spend for your lead provision. Represent DWP at senior level with external providers, promoting the work of PMs and encouraging performance improvement.
