We are currently recruiting for, friendly, caring, and compassionate, hard-working Senior home care workers who can drive and have a valid drivers license to join our team and provide excellent care to service users, with a range of care needs in the comfort of their own home. Role and Responsibilities: To be an integral part of the team to support with all aspects of the care role Provide person centered care Provide support in daily living activities Manage and administer medication Understand, adhere to, and follow care standards. Policies and procedures Keep all records up to date with accurate information Provide support with personal care (Undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care) Provide support with Nutrition and Hydration – Meal Preparation Engage with the service user Light Domestic Duties/Shopping Make sure that safe care practices are adhered to Using Moving and Handling equipment Communicate with other colleagues and senior level staff Maintain Confidentiality Ideal Candidate: Must be hard working, reliable and honest Must have at least 1 year experience as a Healthcare Assistant or equivalent. Must have adequate experience in medication administration.
