The Placements & Assessment Officer (PO1) is an integral part of our organization, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the placement of students in various educational and professional environments to enhance their learning experiences. This vital role requires a passionate individual who can work collaboratively with both academic staff and external stakeholders to ensure successful placements that align with curriculum goals and industry standards. The officer will be tasked with assessing the performance of students in their placements, providing essential feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. The successful candidate should be adept at building relationships with employers, educational institutions, and other partners to develop a robust network of placement opportunities. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
Coordinate student placements across various programs and ensure alignment with educational goals
Develop and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to create placement opportunities
Conduct assessments of students in placement settings and provide constructive feedback
Monitor student progress during placements and address any issues that arise in a timely manner
Gather and analyze data on placement outcomes to inform program improvements
Organize workshops and training sessions related to effective placements and assessments
Collaborate with academic staff to ensure that placement criteria are met and student learning objectives are achieved
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or a related field
Proven experience in placements, assessments, or related roles
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
Analytical mindset with experience in data collection and interpretation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £22.08
