About the Role:
Minerva Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of their client, a warm and family-oriented care home in Woodbridge, Suffolk, seeking a passionate and experienced Hospitality Manager. In this role, you will oversee all hospitality operations, including managing a ‘healthy living’ food service, creating engaging activities for residents, and maintaining high standards in housekeeping and maintenance. You’ll work closely with the care team to provide exceptional service that fosters a sense of community and well-being for all residents.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar hospitality or care home setting, and a solid understanding of relevant legislation, such as employment and health & safety laws. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver outstanding service that reflects the values of compassion, empathy, and transparency.
• Create a positive work environment that supports teamwork and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with the chef to ensure food service is timely and of high quality.
• Develop engaging activities that enhance residents' enjoyment and well-being.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and high cleanliness standards across the home.
• Address maintenance issues promptly to ensure the care home stays in excellent condition.
• Manage the hospitality budget, meeting revenue targets while controlling costs.

Skills and Attributes:
• Proven experience in hospitality, preferably in a care home or hotel setting.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in engaging with residents and their families.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Hands-on approach with natural warmth and passion for delivering excellent hospitality.
