Sewell Wallis is working with a forward-thinking organisation looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst - Data & Digitalisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving automation and digital transformation within finance. The Senior Finance Analyst will work closely with Finance Business Partners and wider business teams to standardise reporting, enhance business intelligence, and improve decision-making through data-driven insights.

What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Finance Manager - Data & Digitalisation, the Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for leading initiatives that enhance financial reporting, improve efficiency, and support business performance through data-driven decision-making.
Leadership & Business Partnering
* Motivate, coach, and influence finance team members in areas of data and digitalisation.
* Support and challenge finance teams to ensure data is used effectively for better decision-making.
* Drive process change across the organisation through automation and digital tools.
* Act as the key link between global/regional digitalisation teams and the local finance function.
* Lead and support cross-functional projects that improve business intelligence and reporting consistency.
Financial & Business Planning
* Support the Finance Manager - Data & Digitalisation in developing and executing the data and automation strategy.
* Drive the use of data and automation tools to ensure consistency, accuracy, and speed of KPI reporting.
* Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance finance and business performance.
What skills are we looking for?
* ACA/CIMA qualification with a strong accounting background (first-time passes preferred).
* Proven experience in Power BI or similar tools for financial modelling and analysis.
* Advanced Excel skills
* Strong ability to learn and apply new data and automation techniques.
* Experience working on automation/digitalisation projects.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Six Sigma, Prince2, or SCRUM is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both financial and non-financial audiences.
* Strong time management skills.
* Experience with SAP R3/Business Warehouse & IBM TM1 is desirable.
