£30,000 - £36,000 per annum + Overtime at x1.5 and double time on weekends + Specialist training

Are you a Mechanical Fitter interested in joining an industry leading manufacturing company in Taunton, that will pay for advanced training courses in hydraulic systems to fast track your development into senior engineering roles within the business? Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, my client is looking to hire multiple mechanical engineers that they can develop quickly into senior hydraulic engineers and reward them financially upon successful completion of their training.
The successful candidate will be involved in the building, maintenance and installation of bespoke equipment and machinery in their purpose built, state of the art manufacturing facility in Taunton. You will be working with high profile clients across some of the most regulated engineering sectors such Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear and Marine.
This role will also require you to attend customer premises for the occasional install or servicing of a piece of equipment / machinery that has been built on my clients premises. This will give you exposure to working on some high profile projects, whilst full expenses and overtime is covered to make this an enjoyable part of the role. The majority of your time will be workshop based in Taunton.
This is an extremely exciting role for a motivated engineer, looking to progress their career within a well established company at the forefront of their sector. You will have the opportunity to increase your earning potential through overtime, which will be paid at x1.5 on weekdays and Saturday mornings, plus overtime paid at double time on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

The Role:
*Building specialist equipment and machinery

*Able to understand engineering drawings
*Background in Mechanical Engineering - Essential
*Previous experience working with hydraulics would be great however, this is NOT essential
