This is an exciting opportunity to work for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BHFT) across two Integrated Care Systems, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berks West Integrated Care System (BOB ICS) and Frimley ICS, developing and implementing our approach to provider collaboration across mental health, physical health and children and all age family services.

The Programme Director for Provider Collaboratives will lead the BHFT approach to working in collaboration with other providers, primary care, local authorities, the voluntary and community sector and our acute partners in a collaborative approach to transforming services, addressing health inequalities and embedding the approach to coproduction across our collaborative working.
Whilst this is a full-time post, flexible working and working from home can be accommodated in agreement with the line manager.
Main duties of the job
1. Provider Collaborative Strategy development, including vision, ambitions and outcomes.
2. Programme governance, planning and leadership.
3. Developing an evidence-based methodology/approach to framing our ambitions and outcomes for the provider collaboratives.
4. Leading on the organisational development that ensures collaborative working becomes the norm for BHFT and its partners.
5. Providing expert advice, guidance and support to BHFT clinical, operational and non-clinical colleagues supporting collaborative working.
6. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across BOB and Frimley.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. Educated to master’s degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification.
2. Significant experience of working at a senior level in specialist area supported by professional development.
3. Extensive experience or qualifications achieved through further study or practical experience in relevant areas, including analysis, complex report writing at a strategic level and/or project management or negotiation.
4. Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development. Specific training/experience in application of quality improvement methodology. Prince2 or MSP qualified.
5. Significant experience of complex healthcare programme management.
6. Significant knowledge of community and/or mental health and social care services.
7. Understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy in this area.
8. Experience of working with and leading a multifunctional team within a complex high-profile change programme.
9. Evidence of planning and delivering programmes and projects and services on time and to budget.
10. Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions.
11. Ability to understand a broad range of complex information quickly and make decisions where opinions differ/no obvious solution.
12. Extensive experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
13. Experience of implementing change through team working.
14. Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders.
