Location: Office Base is London Television Centre. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a passionate Communications Co-Ordinator to join our Global Brands & Licensing communications team! You'll support our efforts to enhance BBC Studios' reputation and raise awareness of our division. You'll work across incredible brands such as Bluey, Doctor Who, BBC Earth, and Hey Duggee in areas as diverse as merchandise, publishing, live entertainment, gaming, digital and interactive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a central point of contact across UK, US, and APAC offices, coordinating sign-offs for releases.
* Manage team priorities, schedules, and updates.
* Handle and respond to media and stakeholder inquiries.
* Support communications colleagues in promoting BBC brands and consumer products.
* Contribute to communications materials and media monitoring.
* Manage central inboxes and oversee influencer marketing campaigns, including reporting.
* Compile monthly coverage reports and leadership communication updates.
* Maintain and distribute press kits, images, and key messaging documents to global stakeholders.
* Coordinate media requests and interviews with talent, executives, and key stakeholders.
* Assist in monitoring and responding to potential PR crises.
* Work with digital teams to align PR efforts with social media strategies.
* Maintain and update a database of key journalists, media contacts, and influencers across regions.
* Ensure key press materials are adapted for different markets and languages.
* Assist in managing PR campaign budgets and tracking expenses.
* Assist in planning and organising press launches, conferences, and events.
* Coordinate team activities, including learning sessions, meetings, guest speakers, and social events.
* Handle administrative tasks such as travel bookings, invoicing, and preparing communication and publicity assets.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and on the phone.
* Computer literate with strong office skills.
* Quick learner with adaptability to different systems such as monday.com.
* Organised with good attention to detail and tenacity!
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Experience in a communications environment.
* Experience writing communications materials.
* Good knowledge of media channels (print, broadcast, online).
* Interest in influencer marketing.
