Contract ended : Hours: Monday to Friday (37.As a Service Design & Introduction lead, you will oversee the design, development, and introduction of new services within client Digital.
Through close collaboration with business stakeholders, you will manage the service design package for IT Operations within client Digital by gathering and understanding business requirements for new IT services.
You are responsible for supporting new services and change programmes entering the IT Operations function ensuring they are architecturally sound, scalable, and aligned with best practices. This will require monitoring the implementation activities when the new or changed service is being deployed into the live environment to ensure compliance to process and agreed outcomes.
Working in partnership with client Digital and the business to:
Lead the design of new IT services, ensuring that they align with business requirements and objectives.
Oversee the transition of new services from development to production, ensuring a smooth and controlled deployment.
Manage a portfolio of projects to define IT Operations requirements, costs for Solution Sketch (SS) and Statement of Work (SOW).
Act as a point of support to guide Project Managers (PMs) though the service introduction and IT Operations processes.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the introduction of new services.
Provide consultancy and support for RFP work.
Perform post implementation reviews based upon the service introduction activities that have been performed.
Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that newly introduced services meet defined standards and performance criteria/
Deliver on a number of projects, the breadth and complexity of which will vary depending on experience.
This role may require some travel and working from multiple sites/locations within UK and internationally. You must be willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops and other related activities.

Proven project management skills to oversee the introduction of new services from conception to production
Effective senior stakeholder management, balancing and finding compromises between opposing views and opinions.

Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with service design and introduction
Demonstrates and applies a good understanding of third-party supplier management principles.
Structured and organised approach, proven ability to deliver to time cost and quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and unexpected issues during service transition
Proven track record of successfully supporting service Introduction activities to agreed standards, in a complex global organisation.
Experience of working with Managed Service Providers and with Outsourced IT models.
Experience in creating comprehensive documentation and providing training for relevant teams.
Experience in establishing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure service quality meets defined standards
