ABOUT THE ROLE We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Operations Manager. This is a full-time position based in London. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI. RESPONSIBILITIES The Op eration s Manager role will primarily have ownership of the commercial functioning of the client account. This vital role will work closely with the Client Lead to ensure OpenDoor’s biggest account is run efficiently and effectively from a commercial compliance perspective. Establishing processes and ways of working with both clients and internal stakeholders alike to deliver best practice in commercial account management. Monitor the ratio of media spend versus fee to flag changes and highlight necessary management of the staff plan. Assist Client Lead and Commercial Team in formulating annual scope of work, adhering to MSA (Master Service Agreement) tramlines. Manage and track all out-of-scope project sign-offs, adhering to the client process to ensure timely sign off. Monitor Service level deliverables (E.g. frequency of training, timely delivery of reporting document) and ensure the team are delivering on these. Ensures Scopes of Work are kept up to date and centrally available. Working with the planning leads to ensure all media plans are updated on central systems. Building quality control checks to flag potential errors. Working with trading teams to ensure all media value is recorded and highlighted to the client quarterly. Working with Finance Plus, Finance and UL client team to ensure late client payment is minimised. Central point of contact for Finance. Working with Client Partner, Planners and Buyers to ensure the Billing and Income files are regularly updated with the latest spend forecasts. Assist in the preparation of the documentation for the monthly budget signoff meeting. Coordinate delivery of cross-channel compliance reports – e.g. level of 1PD, Performance Marketing retailer investment. QUALIFICATIONS Proven verbal and written communicator who can measure the requirements of different audiences and adapts his / her communication style accordingly. Works directly with Global Contract Owner and is relied upon to highlight local market implications linked to the global contract. Very strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating on daily basis the ability to succinctly communicate with finance and non-finance people alike and to accommodate language and cultural differences. Strong listening skills and ability to process verbal information. BONUS POINTS Pro-active, organised and good attention to detail. Builds good rapport with Stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail: Ability to process and, most of all, interpret financial data in support of commercial decisions. Possess a natural attention to detail and ability to digest information from a wide variety of sources. Open-minded, able to develop and assess different options and solutions. Proactively looks for ways to make improvements, flags issues ahead of time and needs little guidance from Client Partner. Creates templates /processes rather than just filling them in / following them – shares these with other markets / client teams.
