Specialist Paediatric Clinical Pharmacist
Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking for someone to join our specialist paediatric pharmacy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical skills and gain valuable experience in paediatric pharmacy.
You will deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services within the Medical & Surgical Care Groups, including critical care and oncology. You will also participate in clinical pharmacy, aseptic services, and inpatient pharmacy services. Additionally, you will contribute to weekend, bank holiday, and out-of-hours emergency duties.
You will have completed Year 1 of your postgraduate clinical diploma or have completed the CPPE Primary Care pharmacy education pathway, and you'll have experience in hospital pharmacy. Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
If you're passionate about paediatrics and ready for the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!

Reporting into the Lead Pharmacist for Medicine, your responsibilities will include:
1. Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to paediatric medical and surgical patients, under the lead pharmacist's direction.

3. Work as a non-medical prescriber if qualified and attend multidisciplinary ward rounds.
4. Contribute to service development, including guideline, protocol, and standard operating procedures implementation.
5. Participate in audit, research, and clinical trials.
