The Company Secretarial team plays a leading role in ensuring that BT Group and the Board complies with good corporate governance practice and associated laws and regulations. We support great decision-making across the business, make the complex simple and help drive BT’s success.
What you’ll be doing
* Maintain and develop the Diligent Entities database to meet UK and international requirements.
* Provide company secretarial services for subsidiaries, including director training.
* Support transaction and transformation projects as needed.
* Collaborate with business owners on information needs across tax, finance, and property.
* Ensure compliance with corporate governance and relevant legislation.
* Oversee liquidations during group simplification.
* Assist the Deputy Company Secretary and senior managers with board support, including inductions and evaluations.
* Provide administrative support for the Executive Committee and subsidiaries, including minute-taking and agenda creation.
* Guide authors of board papers to ensure compliance and quality.
* Maintain a rolling calendar for board committees.
* Support Blueprint user inquiries and manage dormant accounts reporting.
* Ensure compliance with corporate governance systems and liaise with archives.
* Track statutory filings and provide regular updates.
* Facilitate signing of shareholder documents and AGM preparations.
* Contribute to knowledge sharing and team strategy.

* Minimum two years of company secretarial experience
* Partly CGI qualified or motivated to qualify
