Continuous Improvement Coordinator
As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, with a love of all things KAIZEN, you will play a crucial role in implementing standardised Kaizen processes and systems across our clients' Automotive business. You will be a champion of Kaizen KPIs and reporting processes to align with our division’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set Objectives: Collaborate with the General Manager and Plant Manager.
2. Strategy and Implementation: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the deployment strategy.
3. Training: Educate cross-functional teams on Kaizen tools and practices.
4. Support Teams: Offer coaching, mentoring, and guidance to both office and shop floor teams.
5. Employee Engagement: Encourage all employees to participate in Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
6. Track Progress: Monitor activities, identify deviations, and propose solutions.
7. Process Reviews: Conduct process reviews and identify improvement opportunities, reporting to plant teams and senior leadership.
8. Safety: Always prioritise working safely.
9. Audits: Perform internal audits of Kaizen practices.
10. Continuous Improvement: Oversee Kaizen projects and ensure minimum training requirements are met.
11. Best Practices: Share best practices and report on Kaizen KPIs.
12. Leadership: Lead Kaizen and GEAR activities.
13. Training Coordination: Plan and resource training processes.
14. Approval Coordination: Work with the General Manager to approve new layouts and critical organisational changes.
15. Tool Management: Coordinate Kaizen tools, including the GEARS program.
16. Compliance: Follow all general and departmental procedures and ensure compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.
Basic Requirements
1. Experience: At least 3 years in Automotive Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, or Program Management.
2. Knowledge: Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing strategies and tools is a plus.
3. Standards Knowledge: Understanding of IATF16949/ISO 14001/ISO45001 systems.
4. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent at interacting with cross-functional teams in a global, multicultural environment.
5. Global Event: Must attend the Annual Global Kaizen Event.
