* Leading the project accounting team and supporting monthly programme reviews

* Providing support to the Finance Business Partner to leverage opportunity and mitigate risk, The Naval Ships Finance Function aims to provide value-adding, fully integrated business support to project delivery, promoting continuous improvement to inform business decisions and achieve financial objectives. This role supports the delivery of the high-value, business-critical Type 26 contract. The Finance Manager will serve as a key interface with the Type 26 Programme Management team, responsible for inputting essential financial information. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to gain broad financial and project management experience on our largest customer-funded delivery programme, with opportunities for development and progression within a growing, stable, long-term programme.

* Fully qualified accountant, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
* High level of commercial/business acumen
* Ability influence, challenge, and engage stakeholder at various levels
Desirable:
* Previous line management experience
* Long-term contracting experience within defence or a similar comparable industry
* Prior use of systems such as SAP or similar
