The IT Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure across the Enrich Learning Trust, with a primary focus on on-site support at Diss High School and Long Stratton High School. The role involves ensuring seamless network and internet connectivity, maintaining security, responding to IT support requests, and assisting staff and students with IT-related issues.
About the Role
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting IT systems across Diss High School and Long Stratton High School, ensuring smooth network connectivity, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with hardware and software setups. You will also contribute to cybersecurity measures, user management, and IT projects, helping to create a secure and efficient digital learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Resolving IT issues and service requests via the central helpdesk
2. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network infrastructure
3. Managing user access to school systems and networks
4. Supporting cybersecurity and compliance with GDPR and data protection laws
5. Assisting staff and students with IT-related queries and training
6. Contributing to IT projects and supporting system upgrades

2. Experience with Microsoft 365, networks, and troubleshooting
3. Strong communication and customer service skills
