This is a high-impact role for a sales professional who thrives on developing new opportunities while also nurturing and growing existing client relationships.\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving growth across both new and existing accounts. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential prospects, initiating contact, and converting them into customers, while also managing a portfolio of existing clients to ensure continued engagement, project wins, and revenue growth.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nIdentify and acquire new customers with strong market potential\n\nManage and grow a portfolio of existing clients\n\nDevelop tailored account plans that address customer needs and business goals\n\nConduct high-impact meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations\n\nSecure project wins and drive increased turnover across your accounts\n\nMaintain up-to-date client data and sales activity in CRM systems\n\nCollaborate with internal teams across sales, innovation, and marketing\n\nContribute to promotional campaigns and support market development\n\nProvide detailed reporting on pipeline progress, customer activity, and opportunities\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)\n\n3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial automation, engineering, or technical solutions\n\nTrack record of both acquiring new customers and developing existing business\n\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and results-focused\n\nComfortable working independently and in a team environment\n\nFull UK/IE driving licence\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n\nFluent in English (additional languages such as German or Dutch are an advantage)\n\nKey Performance Indicators\n\nGrowth in turnover and profitability across assigned accounts\n\nNumber of new customers acquired\n\nProject wins and overall account development\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nJoin a global industry leader with a strong reputation for innovation\n\nBlend of strategic new business development and key account growth\n\nAutonomy to shape your own territory and client strategy\n\nOngoing professional development and internal career pathways\n\nCollaborative culture with a focus on high performance and continuous improvement\nRecruitment Process:\n\nTo apply, complete the short application form below and upload a copy of your CV.
